This Privacy Policy explains how FairyWorks Digital Kft. (“we”, “our”, “us”) processes personal data in connection with our website fairy.works (“Website”).
We are committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Hungarian data protection laws.

3. Data Collected
Our Website does not automatically collect any personal data (such as analytics, cookies, tracking, or user accounts).
The only personal data we process are those you voluntarily provide through our contact form:
- Name
- Email address
- Message content
4. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing
We process your personal data solely to respond to your inquiry or request.
Legal basis:
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in communicating with website visitors and responding to inquiries.
- If your message concerns a potential business relationship, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) may also apply.
5. How We Receive and Store Data
Before you submit the contact form, you need to fill a captcha. This captcha is provided by hCaptcha. When you submit the contact form, your message (including name and email) is sent to Formspree and forwarded via email to our ProtonMail account.

Your message is not stored on the Website or GitHub servers or by Formspree or by hCaptcha — only within our secure ProtonMail inbox.
hCaptcha
We use the hCaptcha security service (hereinafter "hCaptcha") on our website. This service is provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., a Delaware US Corporation ("IMI"). hCaptcha is used to check whether user actions on our online service (such as submitting a login or contact form) meet our security requirements. To do this, hCaptcha analyzes the behavior of the website or mobile app visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website or mobile app visitor enters a part of the website or app with hCaptcha enabled. For the analysis, hCaptcha evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, how long the visitor has been on the website or app, or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis will be forwarded to IMI. hCaptcha analysis in the "invisible mode" may take place completely in the background. Website or app visitors are not advised that such an analysis is taking place if the user is not shown a challenge. Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the website visitor is party (for example, the website terms) or in order to take steps at the request of the website visitor prior to entering into a contract. Our online service (including our website, mobile apps, and any other apps or other forms of access offered by us) needs to ensure that it is interacting with a human, not a bot, and that activities performed by the user are not related to fraud or abuse. In addition, processing may also be based on Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: our online service has a legitimate interest in protecting the service from abusive automated crawling, spam, and other forms of abuse that can harm our service or other users of our service. IMI acts as a "data processor" acting on behalf of its customers as defined under the GDPR, and a "service provider" for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). 6. Data Retention
We retain emails only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry or to meet legal obligations. In general, we delete correspondence within 12 months after communication ends, unless retention is legally required.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Data may only be disclosed:
- To service providers such as ProtonMail, GitHub, Formspree, hCaptcha acting as processors or independent controllers under GDPR-compliant agreements;
- When required by Hungarian or EU law or to defend legal claims.
8. International Data Transfers
Data sent via the contact form is transmitted to ProtonMail’s servers located in Switzerland. Switzerland is recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection.
9. Data Subject Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access – to know what personal data we hold about you
- Rectification – to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
